We are a family run operation that has been sixteen years in the making. ​

 

Over the years, we have worked hard to develop a sound and practical breeding program in order to deliver the best results in our cattle. As such, we have been able to consistently produce quality, sound and efficient high-performing Ultrablacks.

Our passion to create something different in the commercial cattle industry as a family is what drove us to create our household brand, 'Branga Ultrablacks.'

 

Our early foundations in breeding stud Santa Gertrudis and our dedication to constantly improve upon our herd has led us to the quality livestock we have today. Our baseline of stud Santa Gertrudis cows, has given us a foundation and genetics to establish the herd we have today.

 

In order to develop our Ultrablack breed, we've sought to enhance our Santa Gertrudis bloodlines with the introduction of stud Brangus bulls. Using stud Brangus bulls, both in the first and second crossing, we've cemented the genetics of the hardiness of the Bos Indicus breed whilst introducing the qualtiies of the Angus genetics. To further enhance our bloodlines and genetics, our fourth crossing has been with a registered Angus bull, thus further improving upon what we've already established.

Reproduction, ease of calving, milk production, temperament, conformation and meat production are all qualities we have hand selected and bred into our cattle in order to make every beast an efficient, performance quality animal. We strive for our clients to see efficient production of kilograms, better yield, marbling and muscle, as well as functional, fertile animals that will thrive in any climate.
